Most European countries do not have required breeding standards; hence, their breeding programs are inferior to German (ADRK) bred Rottweilers. Many European breeders are no better than America’s backyard breeders.
• In addition, beware of breeders in the US who tell you they breed German Rottweilers. Most do not – they breed European and/or American lines with a few German dogs scattered in the pedigree.
• Please research before you buy. Take your time and do not get sucked into a sales pitch and/or an impulsive buy. This is a livelihood for some breeders and they will tell you whatever you want to hear to sell you one of their dogs.
